As the Olympic torch continues on its journey throughout the UK, when it hit Taunton and Exeter it was the turn of Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am and gold medal-winning triple jumper Jonathan Edwards to carry the Olympic torch as part of the relay.

The streets were lined with hundreds of well-wishers as the former Olympian ran through the streets. Children surrounded Jonathan and were whooping and cheering as he held the flame aloft, while lots of little hands seem to be touching the torch.

Will i.am was a secret addition to the relay and no doubt hot footed it from the hit TV programme 'The Voice' where he is a judge.

With loud support from the crowd, ever the show man, he did a quick moonwalk. Before reminiscing about the Los Angeles Olympics.

In the spirit of the eBay age, the Olympic torches are already attracting controversy as they are being sold on line by the torch bearers for up to £153,000. One lady said she would donate the cash raised to charity.

Today the torch continues through Somerset before ending up in Bristol while Queen Elizabeth's grand-daughter - Zara Phillips - is due to carry the torch into Cheltenham racecourse on her horse Toy town tomorrow.
