Justin Hartley has spent a sizeable amount of time shirtless – whether it was as Adam Newman in The Young And The Restless, Patrick Osbourne in Revenge, Scott Thompson in Mistresses or most recently, as the Manny in the early episodes of This Is Us. Now, it looks as if all those roles are finally paying off.

The actor, who plays the adult Kevin Pearson on the hit NBC family drama, has signed on to star in the sequel to Bad Moms, in which he will once again show off his envious build.

The 40-year-old will play the character of the fit and handsome Ty Swindle in the follow-up film A Bad Moms Christmas. While spending his days as a fire-fighter, Swindle moonlights as an erotic dancer and according to Deadline, will have a scene jiving with Carla (Kathryn Hahn) during a waxing appointment.

The on-screen moms Amy (Mila Kunis), Kiki (Kristen Bell), and Carla will return to handle the stresses of the festive season. Along with the various demands from their kids, the trio will also have to deal with visits from their own mothers during Christmas.

Jon Lucas and Scott Moore will get back to writing and directing the sequel, which is being produced by Suzanne Todd with Bill Block as executive producer. A Bad Moms Christmas is expected to release in theatres on 3 November.

Alongside shooting for the film, Hartley will also continue working on This Is Us. Following a successful season 1, the series has been picked up for two more seasons by NBC.

"This Is Us is as good as anything we've ever had. We're thrilled to renew it for two seasons and there's no doubt it will have a long life on NBC," the network's entertainment chief Jennifer Salke said in a statement in January, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "In a world where there are literally hundreds of television dramas, we're proud to have one of the very best that is also one of the highest-rated," she added.
