Hundreds of thousands of people have lined the streets of London to witness the Lord Mayor's Show.

More than 6,000 performers joined the three-mile parade from Mansion House via Bank, St Paul's and Fleet Street, to the Royal Courts.

The event culminated with the new Lord Mayor's fireworks display over the Thames.

Alderman David Wootton, the new Lord Mayor, started serving on Friday.
