Where to Watch

Kick-off is set for 4:30pm GMT. Radio coverage of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live. Catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:25pm GMT.

Overview

Spurs enter the fixture after progressing to the last 16 of the Europa League by registering an aggregate 3-2 victory over Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Tim Sherwood's side lost the first leg 1-0 away from home and conceded a goal at the start of the second half.

The north London club needed three goals to qualify for the next round. Christian Eriksen and Emmanuel Adebayor's double in the span of less than 15 minutes saw Spurs seal a victory over Dnipro in the second leg, resulting in the progress to the second tier of the European competition.

Meanwhile, Cardiff have endured a poor run in the league in recent times. The Welsh club suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Hull City and have struggled despite Vincent Tan replacing Malky Mackay by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Bluebirds are struggling in the relegation zone and are 19th in the table with 22 points while Spurs are fifth with 50 points after 27 games. Solskjaerwould be looking for a win on Sunday and a victory over the north London side could boost their chances of staying in the Premier League.

What Managers Say

Tim Sherwood: "I have spoken to him [Solskjaer] a few times. We are fresh in the Premier League but he has had more management experience as he has gone to Norway to do his management apprenticeship. You don't need me to tell you it looks like a difficult job."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: "You can look at their results after a Thursday game. That's been proven scientifically, we can take heart from that. I was at the Spurs game. They impressed me. They had high energy and were pressing, but maybe they won't have that energy on Sunday. "
