Tottenham Hotspur will face Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League last 16 tie at White Hart Lane on 17 March.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 8.05pm GMT. Live coverage of the match will be available on BT Sport 1.

Overview

The first leg between Tottenham and Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park saw the hosts seal a comfortable 3-0 victory, courtesy Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus as the latter scored a brace.

Tottenham failed to score the crucial away goal and they have a hard task to restrict a strong Dortmund side from scoring in the second leg. The Bundesliga side are unbeaten in this calendar year and are in fine form.

Thomas Tuchel's side have conceded only one game in the last five matches played in all competitions and have let their opponents score only on seven occasions in 2016 out of 17 fixtures.

A defeat for Mauricio Pochettino's side will see them stay only in the Premier League, where they are five points behind league leaders Leicester City. Harry Kane scored a brace against Aston Villa in Tottenham's 2-0 win in last fixture and the England international is one of the players who can help Spurs progress in the Europa League competition.

What managers say

Mauricio Pochettino: "Our mentality needs to be right. We need to show that last Thursday was an accident. For me sometimes it is difficult, but I accept the criticism. If you win you are a genius, if not you are a disaster. It's important to keep everyone motivated. They are all important for me and I believe in all of them. Sometimes we rotate and sometimes maybe I have made mistakes. We analyse our decisions a lot and I always think we can do better."

Thomas Tuchel: "We don't prioritise one competition over the other. We always feel a certain obligation to give our best. The Europa League could be a chance we will not get again soon. We are showing the spirit needed in this competition."
