Tottenham winger Gareth Bale has admitted an offer from either Barcelona or Real Madrid would be hard to turn down, according to a report in The Telegraph.

Spurs are presently fourth in the Premier League table and are challenging for a Champions League spot for next season and may not be overly pleased at their star player's admission.

"If you are talking about Barcelona or Real Madrid, two of the biggest clubs in the world, then it's a bit like Harry and England, it's a once-in-a-lifetime dream. If you said to any young player that you could play for Barcelona or Real would they turn it down? Probably not. If a bid was accepted you would obviously have to seriously consider it. But that has not happened so, at the moment, I'm just concentrating on Tottenham," the player said.

The Welshman is having an excellent season at Tottenham, with 10 goals and 10 assists from 28 league appearances.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a big-money move away from White Hart Lane for some time now and there were reports of Barcelona monitoring him throughout this season and lining up a summer bid.
