Tottenham welcome Sheffield United for the first-leg of the League Cup semi-final at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.

Where to Watch Live

Kickoff is set for 7.45pm GMT. Live TV coverage is available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Live Radio commentary is available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

Tottenham come into the game as odds on favourites for moving into the second leg of the Capital One Cup.

Sheffield United are set to face one of the in-form teams in the Premier League, a team that has lost just one of their last ten matches in all competitions.

Mauricio Pochettino has a full squad to choose from, but may rotate his team owing to the busy schedule in the coming weeks.

Emmanuel Adebayor could get a rare outing following his return from injury, as could the likes of Ben Davies and Eric Dier.

Sheffield United are known as giant killers as they are the lowest ranked team out of the four. They have beaten West Ham United and Southampton, who are both flying high in the Premier League on their way to the semi-finals and will come into the game with nothing to lose.

Nigel Clough has a much smaller squad at his disposal and thus will stick to mostly the same team that lost 1-0 to MK Dons at the weekend in League One.

The manager will hope that his team can hold the Premier League side off and take the game into the second leg at Bramall Lane.
