Overview

After the completion of the first three stages of this year's Tour de France in London on Monday, the bicycle race starts in France for the fourth stage. Marcel Kittel claimed his second stage-wise victory after the third stage as the UK phase of the race was completed.

The fourth stage will start at Le Touquet-Paris-Plage in Northern France on Tuesday. The fourth stage will be about 163.5km and the day's session will begin with a 34km Category 4 climb of the Cote de Campagnette.

The stage 4 will be flat, which will be an advantage for the riders who are good at speeding. The route passes through Saint-Omer, with an intermediate sprint at Cassel before reaching the final destination of the stage at Stadium Lille-Métropole, Lille.
