All the latest transfer rumours from Barcelona for the 8 August 2011. Barcelona will be buoyed by the news that Cesc Fabregas will be waiving up to £5m of bonuses to join the Nou Camp. Barcelona has entered the race to sign Neymar with the player claiming Barcelona is the greatest club in the world. There are also rumours that the European Champions could make an offer for Borussia Dortmund star Mario Gotze.

The father of Real Madrid target Neymar has told his son to consider any offer from Barcelona before deciding where his future lies.

Real Madrid have been linked with the Santos striker all summer but as of yet have not been able to strike a deal with the Brazilian club. Despite Neymar's agent Wagner Ribeiro saying that Neymar will only join Real Madrid, Barcelona look set to hijack the transfer,

Marca says that after a meeting over the weekend, Neymar's father told Ribeiro to field any interest from Barcelona. The results of the meeting have been so positive for Barcelona that Ribeiro will meet with Barcelona president Sandro Rosell from Barca this week.

Santos are said to be keen to do a deal with Barcelona as they are offering more favourable terms. Pep Guardiola is said to be prepared to allow Neymar to stay with Santos for at least twelve months longer whilst Jose Mourinho wants to sign the player this summer.

Henry Winter has said that Arsenal should end the transfer saga over Cesc Fabregas' proposed move to Barcelona for the good of the club. He has called on the club to allow the Spaniard to leave as the speculation is damaging team morale. Speaking on Sky Sports Sunday Supplement, Winter said that for as long as Fabregas says he wants to leave the club but remains a part of the squad, serious damage will be done to the players around him.

"I think a number of Arsenal fans would quite happily see him go because the saga is now damaging the club," Winter told The Sunday Supplement. "It's clearly affecting pre-season training. I can't imagine Arsene Wenger and his players are particularly delighted with all the uncertainty." he added.

The Daily Mail has claimed that Cesc Fabregas will be willing to give away £5m worth of bonuses in order to leave Arsenal this summer. The newspaper claims that the Spaniard is prepared to help the deal along by waiving the bonuses in his contract in a bid to convince Barcelona to up their bid for him. It could be a potential deal breaker claims the newspaper and something that would almost certainly allow Arsenal to sell the player at the £35m Barcelona have offered.

Barcelona are said to be following Borussia Dortmund's Mario Gotze but the player has said it is too early in his career to consider moving to Spain. The player has spoken of his admiration for Barcelona and would one day like to play for the European Champions.

"My childhood dream was always to play at Camp Nou. It's fun to also watch teams like Barcelona or Arsenal," Gotze told ESPN.

The German international has become one of Europe's most talked about young players and has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Inter Milan but Barcelona would be his preferred location when he decides to leave Germany. Pep Guardiola is said to be a keen admirer of the player and will continue to scout and monitor the player's situation.
