Harry Redknapp has been told that he must sell to buy in this summer's transfer window and here are the latest player linked with an exit from White Hart Lane. Tottenham set for a summer clear out with Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios set for moves to Stoke City. Sunderland has declared an interest in Niko Kranjcar and Chelsea will make another bid to sign Luka Modric.

Stoke City have said they have made their 'last bid' in their quest to sign Tottenham pair Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios.

Stoke have been interested in the players for the whole summer and have been in advanced talks with the north London club for some time but a deal has not yet been agreed. Stoke Chairman Peter Coates has said he has made his final offer to Tottenham and a decision is up to Harry Redknapp now.

"We've made our last bid. The ball is in their court. We shall not be negotiating from where we are," he told BBC Radio Stoke:

"The last conversation I had with Spurs, we had not agreed anything. We'll see what happens, but we haven't got any further," he added.

Peter Crouch scored 11 goals in all competitions for Tottenham last season but it has been reported in England that Harry Redknapp is looking for a more prolific striker to fire the club back into the Champions League and is prepared to let the England man leave White Hart Lane. Wilson Palacios has been told his is surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane after the emergence of Brazilian Sandro and will use the cash for the Honduran to increase their offer for Real Madrid's Lassana Diarra.

Sky Sports has revealed that Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has declared an interest in signing Tottenham's Croatian bench warmer Niko Kranjcar.

Steve Bruce has already added ten new players to the Sunderland ranks this summer and will look for a loan deal to land the Croatian who only made two Premier League starts last season.

He told the Daily Star: "Bringing someone in on loan remains an option and Kranjcar is a quality player who we are very much aware of."

The Daily Mail claims Chelsea are said to be ready to offer Tottenham Israeli international Yossi Benayoun in a cash plus player deal for Luka Modric. Andre Villas-Boas has said that he wants to sign at least one creative midfielder this summer and has put Modric at the top of his list.

Tottenham are adamant that the player will not be allowed to leave the club this summer and have already rejected two big money offers for the Croatian international. Chelsea now believes that a cash plus player deal could be something that interests Redknapp, especially given the quality of Yossi Benayoun.
