Porto hitman set for Tottenham switch? Reuters

All the latest transfer rumours from Tottenham for 15 August 2011. Tottenham are said to be readying offers for Gary Cahill and Porto striker Falcao. Harry Redknapp is said to be willing to allow Luka Modric to leave White Hart Lane whilst Robbie Keane has joined LA Galaxy.

Tottenham have been handed a boost after Bolton manager Owen Coyle was forced to admit that Gary Cahill could still leave the Reebok Stadium this summer.

"Any player wants to play at the highest level, to play the best teams, and there is nothing wrong with that. I have said to Gary he can improve here with Bolton, and he has improved. In the 18 months I have worked with him, Gary has become an integral part of the England squad because of his performances and has improved no end," Coyle said.

"There is no doubt he has taken his game to another level, but that was always going to happen with his age as well," he added.

Tottenham is said to be buoyed by the news and sent their representatives to watch Cahill during Bolton's 4-0 opening Premier League game against QPR on Saturday. Harry Redknapp was also at the game and rumours are circulating in the English press that the club will now make a bid for the player.

Porto striker Falcao had added fuel to the transfer fire by suggesting that he sees his future in England.

The Columbian international is said to want to move to England at some time during his career and Tottenham are now ready to make a bid for the player. Reports in the Portuguese press claims that Porto may now be looking to cash in on the striker who recently signed a new deal but has a £40m release clause.

Robbie Keane two year deal worth £6m to join American MLS side La Galaxy. The player has signed a lucrative two year deal with the club and will be presented to the fans and media on Monday.

The Republic of Ireland striker was offered to a number of Premier League clubs but his reported £65,000 per week wage demands put many clubs off. The striker will now join ex Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder at LA Galaxy.

The Daily Mail has suggested that Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy and manager Harry Redknapp are on a collision course over what to do with want away midfielder Luka Modric. The Croatian has told Tottenham that he wants to join Chelsea this summer but thus far Tottenham has refused to sell. However, the newspaper claims that Redknapp is said to be open to allow Modric his dream move and invest the money into new players. However, Levy is adamant that the player is not for sale an 'any price.'

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is said to be ready to offer one last big money offer for the player after watching his side dominate but fail to create clear chance in their opening Premier League game at Stoke.
