Real Madrid is set to lose three key players this summer if reports are to believed. Inter Milan are rumoured to be ready to make bids for Angel Di Maria, Gonzalo Higuain and Marcelo. AC Milan have ended their interest in play maker Kaka and Tottenham look to have beaten Real Madrid to the signing of Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

According to Corriere dello Sport Inter Milan are said to be ready to bid for Real Madrid's Angel Di Maria, Gonzalo Higuain and Brazilian full back Marcelo.

The Italian giants are said to be ready to splash the cash they will receive from the Samuel Eto'o transfer to Anzhi Makhachkala on the three Real Madrid stars.

Inter have been planning a move for Gonzalo Higuain for some time and are now in apposition to make a concrete offer for the Argentine striker. Higuain is thought to still be in Jose Mourinho's plans but after a long layoff after injury, Higuain has fallen behind Karim Benzema in the Real Madrid striking pecking order and could welcome a move to the San Siro. Real Madrid are also said to be ready to listen to offers for the Argentine.

According to the Italian sports agency Inter Milan will also make a bid for Angel Di Maria. The player who has shown some glimpses of his true quality at the Bernabeu is seen more as an inconsistent talent by Jose Mourinho and Inter believe Mourinho is ready to listen to offers for the player.

Finally, Inter will also attempt to lure Real Madrid full back Marcelo away from the Bernebeu. Jose Mourinho is said to favour new boy Fabio Cointreau in the left back position with Marcelo said to be considering his future. Inter Milan are also keen to add a left wing back to their 3-4-3 system that has come under fire in preseason.

AC Milan has ruled out a shock bid for Real Madrid play maker Kaka.

The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with a move back to the San Siro all summer but as of yet the Rossoneri has yet to make a bid and it looks as though it will stay that way. AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani has all but ended speculation over a possible move for the ex-Milan hero and has apologised to his fans saying that any dead is unfeasible.

"Two years ago when he went to Madrid I was moved," Galliani told Sky Sport 24 on Tuesday.

"But his costs are too high for Milan. He would have to take a much greater wage cut than (Cesc) Fabregas did to go to Barcelona. We would have to sign Kaka permanently otherwise, due to the Spanish fiscal system (a loan move) would create huge cost problems, "he added.

"Kaka can only move (on loan) within Spain. For us to sign him would mean doing so permanently, not on loan," he continued.

Real Madrid look set to have lost out in the race to sign Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Reports in England on Tuesday claim that the north London side are set to unveil the player by the end of the week. The Togolese forward has been told by Roberto Mancini that he can leave Etihad Stadium this summer and Tottenham look to have beaten Madrid to the striker. Tottenham are said to have agreed a deal with Manchester City and all that needs to be negotiated is the player's huge wages. Tottenham could end up paying £5m for the player in a season long loan deal, something Mourinho was not prepared to offer.
