Gordon Ramsay has revealed that he has forbidden his teenage children to get involved romantically with any of David and Victoria Beckham's children.

The TV chef, 50, is dad to Megan, 18, twins Jack and Holly, 17, and 15-year-old Matilda – Tilly for short.

David and Victoria meanwhile parent Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and five-year-old Harper.

Despite Gordon and wife Tana – who sadly suffered a miscarriage with their fifth child earlier this year – having been friends with the retired footballer and his fashion designer wife for over a decade, he insists that he has put his foot down when it comes to their offspring dating each other.

He explained: "Over the past 10 years we've naturally got on. I see how hard David and Victoria work. But the connection is our ambition to get all eight children through school, college, university, and then dust ourselves down, when the kids are in their 20s, as having been decent parents. That's hard. We feed off each other.

"Three girls and a boy, and three boys and a girl – you'd be amazed at the synergy. We've promised that no one dates anybody, and so far... If Holly said: 'Yeah, Brooklyn and I...' it would be: 'No, Holly,'" he added to The Sun's TV magazine.

Back in 2015 Gordon told Now magazine that Holly had a crush on Brooklyn. The teen soon corrected him however, saying: "That's not true – that's Tilly!"

Despite his tender years Brooklyn has already had a string of famous girlfriends including actress Chloe Grace Moretz, 20, singer Tallia Storm, 18, and model Sonia Ben Ammar, 18.

He also caught the eye of former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts earlier this year at the BRIT Awards.

The 17-year age gap didn't appear to deter her as she asked her agent to make an introduction to the popular lad, according to reports.

A source said: "Brooklyn was sat at a table with Emma Bunton, Holly Willoughby, Christine Bleakley and Frank Lampard, but didn't look like he was having much fun until Ashley approached.

"She was very keen to get to know Brooklyn so asked her agent to introduce her to him."

They added to The Sun: "He jumped out of his seat to talk to her and they chatted for over 30 minutes as Ashley tried to get Brooklyn to dance by showing him some of her moves.

"At one point Ashley was mouthing the lyrics of the song playing to Brooklyn, who by this time had a huge smile on his face."
