England play Sweden in tonight’s friendly in Stockholm, with players young and old getting their chance to prove themselves on the international stage to manager Roy Hodgson.

17 year old winger Raheem Sterling is set to be handed his first cap after impressing for Liverpool so far this season. He will become the England’s fifth youngest international in history. His under-21 teammate Steven Caulker will also make a first start for the national side.

As well as these young guns, Everton’s Leon Osman will win his first England cap at the ripe old age of 31. Having been a reliable servant for the Toffees his entire career, his years of service in the Premier League will finally be rewarded on the big stage when he dons the shirt tonight.

As well as England’s side having a few new faces, Steven Gerrard will have the chance to earn his 100th cap for the Three Lions. The captain of both Liverpool and the England national team, he will become only the sixth English player in history to reach a century of caps.
