UN Rejects Australia's Request to Remove Tasmanian Forest's World Heritage Status

UNESCO's World Heritage Committee has unanimously rejected an Australian government proposal for 74,000 hectares of Tasmania's rain forest to be delisted from the World Heritage Area.
