Nemanja Vidic
Nemanja Vidic will consider his future with Manchester United at the end of the season, his agent claims.

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic's agent has clarified the situation surrounding his possible exit from the club, revealing that he will evaluate his options at the end of the season.

Vidic is entering into the final six months of his contract with the Red Devils and the 32 year old has struggled with injury problems for much of the last few years.

Fellow United defender Rio Ferdinand is also nearing the end of his deal with the club and one player is believed to be set to depart as David Moyes brings in a new generation of talent.

Vidic has been connected with a host of clubs in recent transfer windows, from AC and Inter Milan and Napoli to Barcelona, but his agent insists that he is currently concentrating on helping Manchester United until the end of the season.

"He always plays as a starter for Manchester United, he's been out for only a small injury to the head," Silvano Martina said, according to Sport Witness. "There was no contact with Napoli and I do not think that this is a trail to follow.

"The player's contract is expiring, but the Blues have not contacted me. Manchester United has already proposed the renewal and several clubs have approached him.

"Offers from Italy? The player wants to finish the season at United and then we'll see."

Vidic will be hoping David Moyes keeps his promise of offering him consistent game time while considering his future at Old Trafford. And with United's defence currently struggling the side club are believed to be in the market for talent to improve their defensive options this month.

United have been linked with a host of centre-backs but as Vidic remains their long-standing captain Moyes will likely be hoping to keep the Serbia international as he seeks to blend young talent with experience.
