If you are an Apple iPhone user, try downloading Google's updated Calendar application that now features multiple enhancements including the all new Material Design user interface (UI).

The latest Google Calendar app version incorporates multiple Android-like features such as the following:

  • Events from Gmail: Users can add vital events, such as flight, hotel, concert, restaurant reservations and more, from Gmail to Calendar automatically.
  • Brand new Schedule View: Offers easy scanning of users' calendar along with a refreshed interface.
  • Multiple calendar views: Users can rapidly switch between viewing a single day to getting an overview of multiple days at once.
  • Calendar assists: Smart suggestions are now offered to users, to enable them to save time while creating new events.
  • Centralised calendar location: Google Calendar works with all calendars on iPhones, including Exchange and iCloud.

Google's update Calendar app is available for download via the official iTunes store.

Apart from the iOS app, Google Calendar for Android has also been updated to include the enhancements mentioned above.
