Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt continued his dominance in the ongoing Rio 2016 Olympic Games, winning his third consecutive 200m race. The Jamaican outpaced his opponents with ease in 19.78 seconds, bringing his career gold medal tally to eight.

Canada's Andre de Grasse came in second with a time of 20.02 seconds, his second medal at Rio, while France's Christophe Lemaitre was awarded the bronze. He edged out Great Britain's Adam Gemili after both finished with a time of 20.12 seconds.

Bolt now has eight gold medals at the Olympics. The sprinter will also be looking to win his last event at the games, the 4X100m relay, which takes place during the weekend.
