Following their success as the support act on Taylor Swift's UK arena 'Red' Tour, The Vamps are venturing out on their own.

The indie pop group have announced a debut headline UK tour, which will see them play 14 dates this autumn.

Ahead of the big reveal, the Midlands-based quartet thanked fans for their continued support.

"Even from the start, you have supported us relentlessly and we owe so much to you. These times have been life changing for us," they wrote.

"We have met some amazing people along the way. With all that said, we have been forced to make this decision. We regret to announce that..."

Bradley, James , Connor and Tristan were signed by record label Virgin EMI in 2012 after gaining worldwide recognition using social networking sites.

The Can We Dance hit makers are scheduled to kick of their tour with a concert at Sheffield City Hall on 23 September with further stops in Glasgow, London and Liverpool.
