Vin Diesel has become the first actor to attract 100 million followers on Facebook. The Fast And Furious star is the third person to achieve the milestone after singer Shakira and Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Soon after he achieved the feat, well wishes poured in from friends of the 49-year-old actor.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg congratulated Diesel and shared a photo when the two met for the first time. "Congrats Vin Diesel on hitting 100 million followers! Here's one of my favorite photos of us -- trying on your glasses the first time we met," Zuckerberg wrote.

Fast And Furious co-star Michelle Rodriguez shared a video and captioned it: "Congratulations Vin it seems the world is as captured by your Strength, Loyalty, Kind Heart & leadership as I am. You have good intentions in this business, & that is tough to find in Hollywood. I'll forever treasure our friendship."

"Guys seriously???????? Vin Diesel's account just made HISTORY 2 times !!!!!!! 100 MILLION FOLLOWERS ON FACEBOOK!!!!!!!!!!", wrote Tyrese Gibson.
Diesel's most popular post is a tribute to his friend Paul Walker, who died in a tragic car accident in 2013. The post has received 7.7 million likes.

"When I heard, I immediately flew back to California, and went directly from the plane to his mother's house...I thought they needed my strength, but realized when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs. His mother hugged me and said I am so sorry... I said sorry? You're the mother who lost a son?... She said yes, but you lost your other half," Diesel had written about Walker.
