In episode 10 of The Walking Dead season 5 a new character -- Aaron was introduced, who is a Safe-Zone recruiter in the comic books. And now, spoilers for the next episode suggest that the show is about to reach a major milestone where Rick and group finally might reach the Safe-Zone.
Here's the official synopsis for episode 11 titled The Distance, which airs on 22 February:
"After withstanding a spectacular storm, Rick and the others meet what appears to be a friendly person, but find themselves mistrustful."
In AMC's promo for episode 11, we see Aaron with the group in the barn. They interrogate him further, and it looks like Rick's group is not ready to trust Aaron.
In the comic book, Aaron tells Rick and company about the Safe-Zone, saying they have about 34 people in the community. Eventually, the group decides to go with Aaron.
According to a Wetpaint report, "SFX visited the set for Episode 12 and saw the group walking down a suburban street, which should be in the Safe-Zone. Rick shaves in the comic when he gets to the Safe-Zone, and an Episode 12 set video showed Rick clean-shaven. So, Episode 11 may be our last episode before hitting that major landmark."
The Walking Dead season 5, episode 11 'The Distance' airs on Sunday, 22 February 2015 at 8pm ET on AMC. Check out the promo and sneak peek below:
