The Walking Dead season 5's mid-season finale ended on the most predictable note with Beth getting killed in the creepy Atlanta hospital.

The group bid a tearful farewell to the youngest daughter of Hershelle Greene and many were left wondering as to what lies ahead for the survivors of the zombie apocalypse.

Rick Grimes and group are now at a standstill as Terminus is no more a sanctuary and there is no hope of any cure in Washington DC.

Many fans think that Negan will be the next big villain, more furious than the Termites as the antagonist holds a baseball bat coiled with barbed wires in order to torment his victims.

But it appears, he is not the only villain in the second half of the TWD season 5 that Rick, Daryl and the rest of the group will need to deal with, when the AMC zombie horror drama returns in 2015.

According to a Movie Pilot fan theory, another nemesis will come to wreck havoc in Rick's life as Morgan has come tracking the group down with some important information he wants to deliver.

In season 3 of the blockbuster zombie series, Morgan, Rick's saviour, became mentally unstable as he keeps talking about "people wearing dead people's faces."

The website also mentioned a recently released Walking Dead comic book series which introduced a new and creepy-as-hell foe, The Whisperers.

Inquisitr suspects that he might actually be talking about another group of survivors who adopted the creepy way of survival by wearing the skin of the Walkers and calling themselves 'The Whisperers.'

The group may be more deadly than Negan, as according to the graphic comic book by Robert Kirkman, they are a mysterious group which stalks and kills other humans.

Meanwhile, E Online suggests that romance will bloom soon in the Walkers' land as two of the survivors will fall in love.

"There's got to be! Of course they're in the cards, I can't say when they'll happen though," show producer Gale Anne Hurd told the website.

This may bring a smile on the faces of Caryl fans as they wanted to see their favourite characters Daryl and Carol romancing in the show.

The Walking Dead Season 5 returns with the rest of the episodes on February 8 on AMC Networks.
