Norman Reedus has let slip on the new season of The Walking Dead Getty

No one knows who will be Negan's victim when The Walking Dead season 7 returns and it better not be Daryl Dixon. Norman Reedus, who plays the popular crossbow-wielding warrior, has expressed how possessive he is about his character.

"I will be passing out matches if that happens – I will be starting the riot," Reedus told Variety while discussing Negan's victim in the season 6 finale. "You know what, I'm very appreciative. I put a lot of work into this character for a long time, and I really like my job, and I like all the people I work with an awful lot, and I like all those fans that have my back, and I have their back, and I'm trying to do a good job for them as well. So it's one big family that I'm proud to be part of."

However, he urged fans to have patience as the premier episode, according to him is worth the wait. "Everyone's excited for [season] 7 to reveal the answers to 6 [season 6 finale]. So I will say it's well worth the wait. You know what I mean? I know what happens, and we shot it, and it's well worth the wait," he said.

Meanwhile, filming for season 7 of AMC's zombie horror thriller continues in Georgia. Spoiling Dead – the Facebook fan page – has reported more star sightings in the filming area ahead of the show's premiere, which will be in autumn this year.

Here is what the fan page says in a recent post:

Carl, Rick, Daryl, Father Gabriel, Aaron, Enid, Eugene, Olivia, Negan, and Dwight.

Rick was spotted carrying around Lucille!! If you're a comic reader you know that when Negan comes to Alexandria to collect his first "offering" he has Rick carry around Lucille just to fuck with him and break him down even more.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the premiere episode, but AMC is yet to reveal the return date of TWD season 7.
