In the finale episode of Better Call Saul's first season, Jimmy will be reeling from the news that his brother Chuck (Michael McKean) has been sabotaging his career for years.

Also, the lawyer will be seen taking his first step towards becoming Saul Goodman, as he would deliver his most powerful monologue as yet in episode 10.

Better Call Saul producer Tom Schnauz revealed that Bob Odenkirk would deliver an "epic monologue", which sounds pretty serious.

The actor who plays Saul, has also admitted that it was an intimidating challenge, even after having filmed for an entire season.

"I find it to be an involving challenge to attempt to do the work as written, even in a speech that long. Exactly, exactly as written," Odenkirk told The Hollywood Reporter.

Nacho (Michael Mando) was set up to be a big force in season one, but was used sparingly, while Mike (Jonathan Banks) spent the first half of the season stuck inside a parking booth. The writers maintain that's just how the chips fell, with Schnauz saying the writers learned the transition from Jimmy to Saul Goodman would be "much slower" than they initially assumed.

"I maintain that the star of the show is the writing, and all the rest of us are supporting players, including the guy who plays Saul," said Odenkirk.

Meanwhile, a preview clip shows Jimmy return to Hamlin, Hamlin and McGill and apologise to Kim (Rhea Seehorn), while a photo confirms Jimmy reuniting with Mike at the infamous parking booth.
