Blue Blood season 6 returns with a lot of drama for Frank Reagan after New York is faced with a possible terrorist threat. Episode 1 is titled Worst Case Scenario, and will air on Friday 25 September at 10pm EST on CBS Network.

The official synopsis for the premiere episode reads as follows: "Frank goes on high alert when a threat to New York City may be imminent following a terrorist attack in the Middle East, on the sixth season premiere of Blue Bloods." The episode synopsis teases the worst scenario that Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) will ever encounter as his own city New York is under threat of a terrorist attack. A new preview released by TV Line shows the detectives debriefing Frank about the new threat and how they are preparing to take such threats down. Frank however acts calm and says that they should be ready for the worst case scenario and asks them to be prepared with all their resources ready to go.

Detective Abigail Baker (Abigail Hawk) arrives on the scene, and delivers devastating news. He announces, "There have been two more bombings, London and subway in Bangladesh."

"It's happening says one of the detectives," as Frank stands his ground and declares, "Not here, it isn't." Is New York City under threat? All questions will be answered when Blue Blood season 6 premieres on CBS.
