Met Police detectives have released footage showing three yobs ransacking a Co-op shop in Southwark and stealing dozens of packets of cigarettes and scratch-cards. The incident where the suspects, also stole pouches of tobacco, happened in the south London store on Spa Road in Bermondsey in the early hours of the morning on 9 May.

CCTV at the rear of the shop caught the moment the men smashed the lower half of the glass front-door and then stormed the shop floor. They went behind the counter and put a quantity of tobacco, cigarettes and scratch-cards into a bag. The suspects then fled the shop with the goods.

One of the suspects captured on the CCTV cameras is described as a white man of slim built in his 20s, wearing a dark blue hooded top, blue jeans, dark shoes and white gloves. The second is described as of slim built, clean-shaven white man in his 20s. He was wearing a dark blue hooded zip-top, dark trousers, trainers and white gloves. The last man was also in his 20s and was wearing a dark brown cap, blue jumper, black trousers and black gloves.
