A horde of zombies have swarmed towards Victor Strand's safe mansion, which would force Travis Manawa, Madison Clarke, Daniel Salazar and their extended families to abandon life on land and seek refuge on Strand's yacht and move towards a safe place via the sea route.

The official synopsis of the premiere episode reads as follows:

In season one, Travis, Madison and Daniel had to struggle along with their children amidst growing fears of civil unrest and the mysterious flu that was turning humans into zombies. But the upcoming installment of the AMC original series will focus on the survival of the fittest.

Travis was tagged a "weak man" in season 1 for his inefficiency of accepting the apocalypse and acting accordingly. But season 2 will be more difficult for him, as he shot his ex-wife Liza, who got infected after a zombie bit her, and now he has the task of convincing his son Chris as to why he had to make the move. In an exclusive interview with IBTimes UK, Cliff Curtis (Travis) hinted at bigger roles for Madison and Travis.

"In season two, Madison was much more adaptable than in season 1, so I am fine with it. And she is much more pragmatic about killing those kinds of things. She is much more willing to take action. And so naturally she is going to emerge as the leader of the group. That's what I am saying anyways. And Travis is the slowest one to evolve and probably the last one to take action," he said.

Fear The Walking Dead season 2 will premiere on 10 April at 9pm EDT in the US on AMC. The premiere episode will air at 2am GMT on 11 April on BT TV. It will be telecast again at 9pm GMT for BT viewers.
