In the latest teaser, Spiderman can be seen in action and cracking jokes Marvel Studios

Captain America: Civil War has released a new teaser slightly over a week before the release of the highly anticipated movie of 2016. The new footage shows Spider-Man face off with Captain America's long-time friend James "Bucky" Barnes, who was first introduced in Captain America: The First Avenger and as Winter Soldier in the second chapter of the franchise.

In the latest teaser, Spider-Man can be seen in action, cracking jokes. In one of the fight scenes, Bucky swings his metal arm at the webslinger but easily gets hold of it, revealing his own super strength. Spidey then says: "You have a metal arm. That's awesome dude."

Spider-Man made his first appearance in the second trailer of the movie in April. In the two-and-half minute trailer Spider-Man made his dramatic entry by snatching Captain America's shield and tying his hands using his web before landing on top of the roof of a van.

In the movie, Team Captain America and Team Iron Man will be on opposite sides over the government's decision to take control of the Avengers. Iron Man will be in favour of government regulations of the superheroes, while Captain America will be against it.

The movie cast includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers aka Captain America, Robert Downey Jr plays Tony Stark aka Iron-Man, Scarlett Johansson plays the Black Widow, Paul Rudd is Ant-Man, Tom Holland plays Spider-Man while Chadwick Boseman plays Black Panther among others.

The movie opens in theatres in the US on 6 May.
