Real Housewives Of New York season 7 premieres tonight on Bravo TV Bravo

The Real Housewives Of New York season 7 premieres on 7 April at 9pm on Bravo.

The opening episode has already started to bring some drama, mainly for Bethenny Frankel and her ex Jason Hoppy.

While fans can't wait to see Frankel return to the small screen along with LuAnn De Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer, Hoppy is not exactly thrilled.

According to Radar Online, Bethenny's ex-husband has even gone to the extent of banning the housewife from watching the show in the Tribeca apartment that they still share.

"Bethenny wanted to have a few close friends over to the Tribeca loft she shares with Jason and Bryn to watch the RHONY premiere on Tuesday night," a source explained to the news site.

"The show starts at 9 p.m. and Jason didn't want to have an apartment full of people on a school night disrupting Bryn's sleeping."

In an interview with E! News RHONY star Carole Radziwill claims that The Real Housewives Of New York City season 7 is a "really good season."

"Last year was toxic for a lot of us. It was just more obvious with me, but it wasn't a great environment. It got very nasty and dark. Clearly the audience was not into that."

Although Carole didn't reveal details about what exactly fans can expect from her story line, she did tease an emotional on-screen moment.

"There's a moment at the end that was a little overwhelming and it did get more emotional than I did anticipate, but I'm OK with that. I think it was true and authentic and I think producers are respectful...and I appreciated that. I think it's an interesting story to tell, certainly came out of the blue for me and was a little unusual, but I thought, 'OK, if I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it.'" she revealed.
