Watch Shadowhunters episode 8 live online: Alec and Isabelle in trouble as Simon faces vampire issues

Clary Fray and Jace Wayland shared their first kiss in episode 7 of Shadowhunters, more or less hinting at the start of their romantic journey, in the supernatural series by Freeform. But there seems to be no good news for Alec and Isabelle Lightwood, who are under the radar of the Clave – the political body of active shadowhunters.

It is not happy about the underworld adventures of Jace and his friends, who are trying to help Clary. Moreover, it appears that the Clave would hinder Clary's efforts in rescuing her mother Jocelyn, who was kidnapped by her father Valentine.

Episode 8 of the show is titled Bad Blood and will feature the transformation of Simon from human to vampire. His behaviour has already stressed out his family, who are assuming that Simon is going through some mental problems.

The official synopsis of Bad Blood reads as follows:

With word of Alec, Jace and Isabelle's "extracurricular activities" with Clary reaching The Clave, a convoy is sent to observe the Lightwoods running the New York Institute. Once The Clave representative arrives, it is very clear how much trouble the Lightwoods are in.

In the previous episode, Clary managed to locate the Mortal Cup, which was hidden inside her mother's tarot card, but she did not get it easily. A shape shifting demon posed as Jace and tried to steal it from her, but she finally succeeded in her mission. Jace complimented her for her skills and Clary took the moment to grab and kiss him in front of Alec and Izzy.
