Watch Star Wars Rebels season 2 live stream: Ezra learns about his family's fate in episode 9

The Empire will attack the rebel base guns blazing in the upcoming chapter of Star Wars Rebels season 2. In episode 9, titled Legacy, fans will learn more about Ezra Bridger's parents and if they are still alive.

According to the official synopsis: "As the Empire attacks the rebel fleet on Garel, Kanan and Ezra return to Lothal and find a former prisoner with knowledge about Ezra's parents." Click here to watch the episode via live stream. You can also watch the episode online on the Disney website.

In Star Wars Rebels season 1, it was shown that Ezra's parents, Mira and Ephraim Bridger, set up public broadcasting transmissions to speak out against the Empire's harsh rule but they were later hunted down and taken hostage. Although Ezra thinks they are dead but there is a mystery behind what exactly happened to them.

In the episode titled Empire Day, Tseebo (a close friend of Ezra's parents) revealed that he knows the fate of Ezra's parents but Ezra refused to hear him out.

A new promo for the upcoming episode shows the Ghost crew being pinned by the Imperial forces. Driven to act, Ezra unleashes his impressive Jedi power to fight off the stormtoopers.

The preview begins with the Empire fleet shooting at Ezra, Kanan and Zeb. We see agent Kallus showing up and opening fire at the rebels. Ezra then states: "We don't have all day, we have to get back to Lothal," and leaves to take down the stormstopers with his lightsaber.

The young Jedi displays impressive skills and is successful in taking down Kallus using mind tricks. After witnessing the fight, Zeb states: "That's pretty impressive," to which Kanan replies: "Yeah! I taught him."

Then the two inquisitors, the Fifth Brother and the Seventh Sister, show up and say: "Well, hello there." An enraged Ezra replies: "You are not going to get in my way."

The Seventh Sister replies: "Well then my brave young boy, come and prove it." The promo ends with Ezra going after them as Kanan shouts: "No Ezra."

Another preview of the episode shows Hera turning up with the Ghost as Ezra, Kanan, Chopper and Zeb somehow get into the aircraft. Zeb heads for the ship's gun port to take down the Empire's fleet while Kanan, Ezra and Chopper head to the Phantom to combat the Imperial forces.

Star Wars Rebels season 2 episode 9 airs this Wednesday, 9 December, at 9.30pm on Disney XD.
