The latest promo for the episode shows Stiles vising Lydia Martin at the Eichen House. He holds her hand and says, "Lydia, you have to wake up. We can't do this without you."

The trailer also shows Theo Raeken telling Malia, to "pretty much dare the Desert Wolf to come after you". The new ally of Malia could be Theo, as in episode 13, he told Malia that he could help her find Dr Alan Deaton, as he knows how the Dread Doctors track people down. Also, Sheriff Stilinski will learn about the Beast that is hunting down innocent people at Beacon Hills.

According to showrunner Jeff Davis, Scott will try to bring Malia back in his pack and repair his relationship with Liam Dunbar. Davis told Entertainment Weekly, "Episode 14 is trying to pull Malia back into the pack, and by then, Scott has found that one of the most important ones to him is Liam, and he's got to figure out a way to repair his relationship with Liam, who tried to kill him."

Previously, Shelley Hennig teased that Malia will seek revenge from Desert Wolf and no-one can stop her. Hennig told TV Guide, "She wants revenge. Malia has had enough and no one can really stop her at this point. I feel like the Desert Wolf wants to mess with her a little more but Malia's intention is to straight up kill her."

"This woman has essentially messed up her life and her family. Everything in Malia's life has been shaped by what the Desert Wolf has done to her and Malia has nothing to lose," she added.
