West Ham United loanee Manuel Lanzini is flattered by reported interest from Liverpool but wants to agree a permanent move to east London at the end of the season. The former Argentina youth international is on loan with the Hammers from United Arab Emirates side Al Jazira Club but is committed to extending his temporary arrangement.

The 22-year-old has scored four goals in 10 Premier League starts this term amid an encouraging start to the season for Slaven Bilic's side. Lanzini has agreed to move to West Ham at the end of the campaign on a long-term deal and he remains dedicated to that pledge despite interest from afar.

"I heard the president say that the club wants me to stay. I am fine here," Lanzini told ESPN prior to the 4-1 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur. "It's an absolute honour that a team like Liverpool has put an eye on me." Lanzini becomes the third player to be put out of Jurgen Klopp's reach since his arrival at Liverpool, with Ilkay Gundogan and Ruben Neves both staying at Borussia Dortmund and FC Porto respectively.

Bleacher Report understood Liverpool were tracking the attacking midfielder, who began his career at River Plate, as Klopp plans an overhaul of his squad. The German manager is not yet certain of his plans in the January transfer window but could make changes come the end of his first season in charge.

Lanzini scored against Liverpool in a 3-0 win at Anfield earlier in the season and has been among the surprise packages in the top flight this term after arriving in England as an largely unknown quantity. Co-owner David Sullivan is confident of keeping the player away from the clutches of rival clubs having struck an "unbreakable" agreement to sign him permanently.

"I know there have been some reports in the media over the weekend surrounding the future of Manuel Lanzini," he told the official West Ham website. "We have an unbreakable option with both Lanzini and his club, so any other team's interest is irrelevant. Manuel has been a fantastic signing for the club and we all hope he can maintain this superb run of form for the rest of the season."
