Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli is expected to complete a move to West Ham United as a free agent before the end of the week, according to L'Equipe. The 26-year-old will reportedly sign a three-year deal with the Hammers despite having also attracted the attention of other big clubs, including Manchester United.

The Algeria international moved to Valencia from Grenoble in the summer of 2010 and quickly became a crucial player for Los Che. However, he has struggled to replicate his best form during the 2015-2016 campaign due to injuries and speculation his head has been turned by stories linking him with a move away from the club.

In January reports in Spain claimed that Barcelona were keeping a close eye on his situation ahead of an attempt to lure him to the Nou Camp as a free agent. Luis Enrique has been looking for a versatile forward to back-up the MSN trident since the departure of Pedro to Chelsea.

Valencia-based publication Super Deporte later claimed that Los Che had made him a renewal offer to keep him at Mestalla, adding that that the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea were also monitoring the situation.

At the time it looked likely Feghouli would sign a new deal at Valencia, but negotiations broke down in April after the club fined him for failing to attend a training session.

A number of clubs have since been linked with his services and L'Equipe now claims West Ham will be winners of the contest, as Feghouli is expected to complete a move to the Hammers before the end of the week.

The French publication says Sevilla, Villarreal, Inter Milan, Fenerbahçe and even Manchester United had all expressed interest in the player over recent weeks, along with a lucrative offer to move to China. However, the winger has decided to relocate to London after being impressed by Slaven Bilic's project.

Should these reports be accurate, Feghouli will become Bilic's second addition of the summer. The Hammers have already signed Havard Nordtveit on another free transfer after the former Arsenal midfielder ended his contract at Borussia Monchengladbach.
