Overview

When Liverpool and West Ham clashed in the fifth round FA Cup fixture at Anfield, it ended in a goalless draw, forcing for a replay. Even in the previous round, the Reds were forced to progress in the competition through a replay against Exeter City.

Both Premier League teams will be looking to qualify for the next round of the competition. The winner will take on Blackburn Rovers in an away fixture on 21 February in the sixth round of the FA Cup.

The Hammers come into this fixture after a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of 10-men Southampton in the last league tie. Slaven Bilic has few injury concerns for the FA Cup clash and so does Liverpool.

The Reds were without their manager Jurgen Klopp during their 2-2 draw against Sunderland as he had to undergo a surgery on Saturday to remove his appendix. Liverpool conceded two goals in less than 10 minutes against the Black Cats and they will be hoping to bounce back when they face West Ham.
