Leicester remain top of the Premier League; that point on Tuesday turned out to be enough for them to extend their lead at the summit to six points. Tottenham and Arsenal remain where they are ahead of a huge north London derby on Saturday.

Tottenham miss the chance to move top of the Premier League; they have been outfought at Upton Park where West Ham have secured a huge victory over Mauricio Pochettino's side. It;s a pretty terrible night for the Argentine, but another harrowing night for Arsenal may soften the blow somewhat. The Gunners have lost their third game in a row, this one at home to relegation threatened Swansea.

Leicester's 1-1 draw at West Brom looked like dropped points last night; it isn't looking like such a bad result now....

FULL TIME: West Ham 1-0 Tottenham

FULL TIME: Arsenal 1-2 Swansea City

Tottenham load the box as Dier swings a big cross in from deep, but it's well over hit and Adrian can claim easily.

Four minutes of time added on at Upton Park.

Five minutes of time added on at the Emirates. Moments ago there was a penalty appeal from Arsenal after Ramsey went down under the challenge of his fellow Wales international Williams, but the referee was not interested.

Eriksen's delivery is knocked on but Adrian is alive too it and punches clear. West Ham spring forward on the counter and the ball is spread to Payet who runs into the box, but he is brilliantly marshalled by Son who wins the ball back.

Eriksen cleverly sneaks inside Oxford and forces another Tottenham corner.

Arsenal are still chasing their own equaliser but have just spurned another chance, with Theo Walcott meeting Ozil's delivery with a tame header straight into Fabianski's arms.

Eriksen almost sneaks through after a prodded through ball from Kane but Cresswell steps across to thump it out for a corner. Kouyate clears the first one, and Spurs waste their second attempt.

Diafra Sakho is on for the first time since November, he replaces Lanzini for the final five minutes.

Tottenham are running out of time, here. The chance to move top of the Premier League is passing them by. Around seven minutes of normal time remain on the clock.

Goal! Stoke City 1-0 Newcastle United (Shaqiri, 81)

Another change for Spurs, Tom Carroll comes on the Kevin Wimmer with Eric Dier moving back into centre-half.

Swansea have taken the lead in north London! Gylfi Sigurdsson lifts a free kick into the box and it comes off Ashley Williams and into the back of the net! The Emirates is stunned. And a bit angry.

Goal! Arsenal 1-2 Swansea City (Ashley Williams, 71)

Another change for West Ham, Andy Carroll comes onto replace Emineke.

Erik Lamela's evening is over, Son is onto replace him.

Arsenal are denied by the woodwork again! Sanchez is denied for the second time, smashing a free kick over the wall only to be denied by the cross bar, via a small deflection.

Payet whips in absolutely sublime cross from that free kick. It;s absolutely perfect for Antonio, but he doesn't get the right connection and skies it. Right down the other end Eriksen swings in another cracking ball, but Kane appears to leave it, thinking the defender will get their first. He didn't however, and that has to go down as a missed chance.

Ben Davies is shown a yellow card for a challenge on Antonio. James Collins' evening is over, he is forced off and is replaced in defence by Reece Oxford.

Adrian deals with the resulting corner just as impressively. Alli is finally on, replacing the disappointing Chadli.

Spurs so close to an equaliser! Alderweireld thunders one on goal from 30 yards out that draws a good save from Adrian. Kane misses the rebound completely but the ball instead cannons back of Ogbonna, forcing Adrian into another fine stop!

Tottenham are looking to their bench to inject a bit of energy into this lacklustre performance; Dele Alli is getting ready.

Noble loops a cross into the far post that Trippier seems to be in charge of, but Cresswell charges in and gets to the ball first, but doesn't get the right connection on his header.

Good chance for Lamela! Ogbonna looks in serious trouble, he is barely able to walk, and Spurs pass their way down the inside right channel before the ball comes in for the Argentine. It's a difficult angle, but Lamela doesn't get enough direction of his header and nods well wide of goal.

Eriksen pulls an inviting ball back for Davies to strike from about 25 yards out but he doesn't get the right connection and drags it wide. It's been a slightly less sloppy start from Tottenham in these opening few minutes.

And we are back underway at Upton Park.

Tottenham have been pretty dismal so far; luckily for them, Arsenal are faltering again this evening and are being held at home to Swansea. It remains goalless at the Britannia where Stoke are hosting Newcastle.

HALF TIME: West Ham 1-0 Tottenham

HALF TIME: Arsenal 1-1 Swansea City

Half a chance for Spurs as Lamela's floating cross almost falls to a team-mate but Collins gets a tidy glancing header onto it to knock it wide.

Tottenham have been really, really poor in this first half. Poor first touches a plenty and West Ham have fought and robbed them of every second ball so far. Both Alderweireld and Wimmer have been booked, too.

West Ham the ball in the back of the net again but the offside flag is up. Emenike, who had the first effort on goal, was a couple of yards off when Kouyate's flick fell to him.

Arsenal are denied by the woodwork again! Mertesacker nods down a cross to Giroud who rattles one for the roof of the net, but the cross bar denies him. Great knock down from the big German.

A big pass out from the back threatens to spring Antonio clear but Wimmer gets across and hauls him back. It's a deserved yellow but no more; Alderweireld looked in position to get across there.

Payet plays a delightful no-look pass down the right but Dier reads the run of Antonio, getting across but concedes the corner. Payet's delivery has been near-perfect so far this evening but this one is overhit.

West Ham smell a second. Payet again finds Noble on the edge of the box with the lay-off but his effort on goal is charged down. Noble has it again and slides it to Antonio who shifts it onto his left foot, leaving Davies on his backside in the process, but his follow up effort is also blocked for a corner. Tottenham need half-time badly.

Swansea are level at the Emirates! Mesut Ozil takes too long on the ball and is shrugged off the ball by Jack Cork, who threads an easy pass through for Routledge who finds the back of the net with an equally easy finish.

Goal! Arsenal 1-1 Swansea (Wayne Routledge, 30)

Payet does curl it on goal but Lloris collects with ease.

Payet suddenly has the ball at his feet 30 yards out from goal and rushes towards Alderweireld. The Belgian sticks out a foot as Payet bursts past him and is shown a yellow card. West Ham have a free-kick, but this could be too far out for the West Ham playmaker...

A back pass to Lloris takes an almighty bobble and forces the Frenchman to burst out and sweep clear with Emineke closing him down.

Payet takes Trippier on a dance down the right, looking to beat the full-back with a couple of step overs the byline. Trippier does well however, keeping the cross out and winning the goal kick for his side in the process.

Chadli hasn't had the best of starts to this game. The aforementioned overhit pass was the second occasion on which he was to blame for a counter breaking down, and it was him who was supposed to be marking Antonio for West Ham's opener.

Chadli picks up the ball as Spurs mount forward menacingly with Kane looking to break off the shoulder of the last man. The Belgian releases the ball for his teammate, but overhits it horribly and kills the counter attack dead.

Arsenal have their lead and it is fully deserved. Having been spurned by the post a few minutes ago, Alexis Sanchez turns provider, lifting an inviting ball over for Campbell whose late run into the box catches out the Swansea defence and slides in to knock it past Fabianski.

Goal! Arsenal 1-0 Swansea City (Joel Campbell, 15)

Brilliant save from Lloris! Payet on the edge of the box, spreads an inviting ball off for Noble who lashes a fine effort on goal but the Spurs goalkeeper leaps across brilliantly to palm it away.

Erik Lamela has been forced off for a few minutes, he's leaking blood at the back of his head following a challenge from Cresswell.

Alexis Sanchez rattles the post! The Chilean picks up a brilliant flicked header from Ozil and takes the shot on the turn, but his barren spell continues thanks to the woodwork.

Arsenal meanwhile have started the far brighter of the two sides at the Emirates with Giroud being presented with a couple of early half chances.

West Ham take the lead! After Lanzini's hard-work, Payet swings a fine cross into the near post where Antonio is well-placed to thump a header on goal that Lloris can't keep out. No Simpsons-themed celebration this time, however. Disappointing.

Goal! West Ham 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur (Michail Antonio, 6)

Lanzini charges towards a wayward Tottenham pass, determined to win a free corner for his side and gets it.

Eriksen is freed into space down the right and the Dane swings a inviting ball into the six yard area, but Kouyate gets to it first and shows brilliant agility to head away from goal.

Payet swings it in but Lloris reaches out and punches it to safety.

Creswell is immediately on his bike down the left wing and after a tussle with Trippier, wins a free kick right in the corner.

And Tottenham get us started at Upton Park.

And the teams have emerged from the tunnel at Upton Park, as they have at the Emirates. Minutes until kick-off...

Less than 10 minutes from kick in the three matches we are keeping across tonight. If you feel like following the second clash between Manchester City and Liverpool in four days, click here, or alternatively, see if Marcus Rashford can find the back of the net again here.

This is Tottenham's last visit to Upton Park before the Hammers move to their new home in Stratford. There are just two more London derbies to follow tonight's meeting; Crystal Palace and Arsenal in April.

In addition to putting a huge dent in their rivals' trophy bid, West Ham will have their eye on moving ahead of Manchester United into fifth place this evening. Louis van Gaal's side sit a point clear of the Hammers and are in action at home to Watford this evening.

We also have a game at the Britannia Stadium this evening where Stoke City host Newcastle United. Mark Hughes has named an unchanged XI with Marc Muniesa returning to the bench.

Jonjo Shelvey meanwhile captains the away side, just two months on from his arrival.

Arsenal meanwhile have recalled Per Mertesacker with Laurent Koscielny out of the team due to a calf problem. It is the German's 100th start for the Gunners. Olivier Giroud meanwhile comes in for Danny Welbeck, who drops to the bench.

Swansea have made six changes to their starting XI tonight, including Stephen Kingsley, who comes in for his club debut.

Dele Alli will start this evening's match on the bench as a result of that minor injury suffered in the build-up to Sunday's win over Swansea City. Ryan Mason and Eric Dier start in midfield with Christian Eriksen taking up a role through the middle behind Harry Kane.

West Ham meanwhile make just one change to their starting XI with Pedro Obiang coming in for the suspended Sam Byram. Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet both start while Diafra Sakho returns to the bench.

Sunday's match-winner Danny Rose also drops to the bench this evening, with Ben Davies coming into replace him.

Tottenham team to face West Ham: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Davies; Dier, Mason; Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane

Subs: Vorm, Rose, Walker, Alli, Carroll, Onomah, Son

BREAKING: Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny misses tonight's match against Swansea with a calf strain.

BREAKING: Dele Alli doesn't start for Tottenham this evening.

BREAKING: Diafra Sakho returns to the West Ham bench.

Those line-ups are expected to be with us any minute.

The most notable absentee in Swansea's clash with Arsenal this evening meanwhile will be their head coach. A statement from the Swans earlier today read:

Swansea City head coach Francesco Guidolin will miss tonight's Barclays Premier League fixture at Arsenal. Guidolin has been struggling with a chest infection for over a week and after failing to respond fully to medical treatment, was referred to a respiratory specialist at a London hospital this afternoon.

"The specialist felt that the best course of action was for Guidolin to remain in hospital for a few days to receive further treatment. He is in a comfortable position and is expected to recover fully in a few days. Alan Curtis will carry out his duties during his recovery period.

Tottenham, are sweating on the fitness of Dele Alli, here is what Mauricio Pochettino told a press conference earlier this week.

Dele Alli had a problem before the Swansea game. We need to assess him tomorrow morning because it's a long day until the game against West Ham, and then we'll decide if he's available.

TEAM NEWS: Swansea

The Swans have a fully-fit squad to choose from tonight with no injury concerns. The absentee is their head coach Francesco Guidolin, who is recovering in hospital from a chest infection.

TEAM NEWS: Arsenal

The Gunners will be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for up to two months as a result of the knee injury he suffered against Barcelona. Arsene Wenger had no fresh injury concerns after the defeat to Manchester United, but Danny Welbeck could be rested after starting his first match in over 10 months on Sunday.

TEAM NEWS: West Ham:

Slaven Bilic is likely to name Diafra Sakho in his match day squad for the first time since November. The striker returned to training a couple of weeks ago and could be involved tonight. Enner Valencia and Winston Reid are closing in on their returns to fitness but will not be ready for tonight's match. Sam Byram meanwhile is suspended having picked up 10 yellow cards this season.

TEAM NEWS: Tottenham Hotspur

Midfielder Dele Alli is a doubt for tonight's clash at Upton Park. The England international suffered a knock in the warmup ahead of the 2-1 win over Swansea on Sunday but went on to play the entire 90 minutes, despite limping heavily towards the end.

Mousa Dembele could be available once again but Mauricio Pochettino believes Saturday's north London derby is a more likely return date for the Belgian. Tom Caroll is fit again after missing the club's last three games, while Jan Vertonghen and Clinton N'Jie remain out.

We are in store for a hugely pivotal night in the Premier League. Leicester City, for all their huffing and puffing last night, failed to blow down the West Brom house as they were held to a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday. That leaves the gap between them and the rest of title challengers at just three points.

Tottenham Hotspur, the new bookies' favourite for the crown, can move top with a win in east London tonight by virtue of their superior goal difference. Last Sunday against Swansea City was a game the Spurs of last season would have drawn at best. But Mauricio Pochettino's hungry young side have continued to defy expectation in the chase for the highest honour in English football and can move to the summit for the first time this season tonight.

Spurs showed what they are made of in Sunday. So did Arsenal, and no one was impressed. Arsene Wenger's side were downed by Manchester United's outrageously under-strength side, and you would have been forgiven for thinking it was United with the title in their grasp, not the Gunners. Questions of how much Arsene Wenger's side really want the league title have been asked all week; another meek performance at home to relegation threatened Swansea will surely end all hope.

There are five Premier League matches happening tonight, we will be keeping across the two huge matches in London in addition to Newcastle United's visit to Stoke City. Team news and line-ups coming up.
