Obama explains that registering to vote is easier than stacking Cheerios Youtube screen grab/BuzzfeedVideo

Barack Obama is clearly a fan of Game Of Thrones – after all, he did use his position to get the episodes of the show prior to their television release. The president showed off his knowledge of the HBO hit in a new video in which he tries to name all the characters that died on the show.

"All right, you've got Ned, Robb, Khal Drogo, Jon — but maybe that doesn't really count," he says. "Renly, Summer, ShaggyDog and then Hodor. That was sad."

He later continues with the list: "Tywin, Oberyn, Ygritte, Joffrey... thank God!"

Naming the deceased characters was one of five pretty difficult things Obama had to do as part of a Buzzfeed video to encourage people in the US to register to vote. In the promotion titled "5 Things That Are Harder Than Registering To Vote" the soon-to-retire president also worked his way through untangling headphones, stacking Cheerios and playing the game Operation.

One of the five difficult things was making a friendship bracelet, and in the seriously cute scene, Obama tries his hand at making one for Joe Biden.

"That stuff's hard. But you know what isn't? Registering to vote. I hope you all understand that you have the power to shape our country's course.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a meeting with my vice-president," he says towards the end of the video, showing off the friendship bracelet he has managed to make for Biden.
