After the popularity of Valeria Lukyanova as the living Barbie doll, a Brazilian woman Andressa Damiani Valcanaia is now emerging as the latest human replica of the popular children's toy. She has a striking similarity with Barbie, while some claim that she is a lookalike of the character queen Elsa from the Disney animation film Frozen.

The 23-year-old Brazilian, who is a veterinary physician, has denied rumours that she underwent the knife to look like the doll. She also claimed that she is not starving herself to maintain her super-thin figure, and that she was using minimal makeup and contact lenses to improve her appearance.

"For as long as I remember I have always looked like a doll. I hardly wear any heavy make-up on a daily basis, I don't diet and I walk my dogs for exercise. I like resembling a doll and I receive many lovely messages from fans," she said according to The Mirror.

Valcanaia – with a slim waist, big eyes and long legs – however, admits that her doll-like features sometimes does scare away some people. "I've had strangers tell me they are disgusted to look at my face and they fear me when they see me walking past. People run away when they see me," she said.

The obsession of becoming a Barbie doll lookalike is nothing new among youngsters. Previously, Rodrigo Alves, an air steward had spent £125,000 on plastic surgery to look like the Barbie's boyfriend Ken. However, Lukyanova, who also underwent the knife to achieve the doll's looks, recently said that she had lost her fixation with her own body.

The 29-year-old Ukrainian model had spent a fortune and went through multiple surgeries to transform her looks. Meanwhile, Valcanaia, has become popular on the web and has over half a million subscribers on her YouTube channel where she offers beauty and makeup tips.
