Selena Gomez was reportedly torn apart because she did not get to enjoy Thanksgiving with Justin Bieber. The Same Old Love singer is said to never want to "spend another holiday apart" as she is "crazy in love" with the Canadian singer.

"She missed him terribly over Thanksgiving, and Selena doesn't want to spend another holiday apart," a source had previously told celebrity gossip website Hollywood Life.

However, the lovebirds won't be together during the upcoming Christmas holidays as well, according to People magazine. The 25-year-old songstress has not invited the Baby singer, 23, to her home for Christmas since her family is still a little hesitant about her seeing Bieber again.

"Justin's family always loved Selena, but Selena's family is still not happy about her seeing Justin," a source told the publication. "Selena doesn't bring Justin to any family events. Selena is spending Christmas with her family. As of now, Justin is not invited."

Gomez's family is not pleased with the songstress dating Bieber as he had broken her heart by breaking up with her in 2014 after four years of dating. However, Bieber is reportedly trying to turn his bad boy image around and become the perfect boyfriend to Gomez.

While the Fetish singer reportedly does not bring Bieber to family events, she has made no secret about hanging out with him in Los Angeles. Since breaking up with her boyfriend of 10 months, The Weeknd, in October, Gomez has been spotted on cosy dinner dates, walks in parks and also attending church services with Bieber. In November, they confirmed their relationship status with a kiss at a hockey game.

"Justin and Selena are great. They still spend a lot of time together, but are being low-key about it. They attend church service together, have dinner and just hang out," the source said. "[Justin] is set on proving that he is a better boyfriend."
