Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am have been left injured following a car crash in Los Angeles.

The Parachute hitmaker and Black Eyed Peas frontman were leaving a late-night studio session when their car ploughed into a parked vehicle at 3.30am.

Cole, 29, who was a front seat passenger in the £100,000 Cadillac being driven by Will.i.am, received a bloody nose after her airbag failed to inflate on impact.

She was apparently seen in tears and clutching her face as blood poured down her lips.

Witnesses at the scene also claim that the 37-year-old US rapper suffered whiplash, bruises, and a bleeding nose when his air-bag was triggered.

According to the Sun, Cole was treated at the scene while Will.i.am was taken to nearby Cedars-Sinai hospital, where he was given a neck brace.

Following the accident the shaken duo made sure to keep their fans updated.

Will.i.am tweeted: "Car accidents are not dope...I'm glad I'm o.k#wiplash."

He later added: "We're fine. Cheryl Cole (and I) were coming back from the studio but she and I are fine ... just a little wiplash."

Cole also tried to reassure her followers that she was ok after the crash by tweeting: "Don't worry me and @iamwill are fine, promise x.".
