Wimbledon 2011 Day 5 order of play

Wimbledon fans will be hoping for the excitement to continue on day five of the championships as the tournament beginnings to take shape. After an intriguing fourth day at the All England Club, all eyes will be on Andy Roddick and Maria Sharapova, who are the top ranked players in action early on Friday.

Andy Roddick will be looking to continue his good form in the tournament when he takes on Feliciano Lopez first on Centre Court. The big serving American will be the favourite against the Spaniard and he has a phenomenal record against Lopez and at Wimbledon. However, the clay court specialist will no doubt cause Roddick some problems especially from the baseline. If Andy Roddick can continue serving in the same percentages as he did in first two rounds, Lopez's challenge should be in vain. Fans should be treated to some exceptional shot making with long rallies expected.

Maria Sharapova will be looking to end British teen sensation Laura Robson's Wimbledon dream on Court No1. The Britain has been in excellent form, both leading up to the tournament and in her first round match and Sharapova will have to be wary of the threat the Brit poses to her. The British crowd will be on the side of Robson and the former Wimbledon Champion will a tough job winning over the partisan crowd.

Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal will return to the show courts later this evening as they look to continue their charge on the top half of the draw. Both Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal have yet to be tested in this tournament and their opponents shouldn't cause them too much trouble. The two look on course for a semi-final battle.
