Witches of East End Season 2 will premiere on 6 July at 9pm ET on Lifetime.

In the Season 1 finale, Ingrid Beauchamp was forced to open the portal to Asgard and a mysterious creature came walking out.

The Season 2 first episode titled 'A Moveable Beast' is expected to be action packed.

The official synopsis reads: "All the Beauchamp witches have trouble remembering exactly what happened after the portal opened and fear a mystical presence crossed over to their world. Victor helps Joanna fight what seems to be a losing battle with her argentum poisoning. Ingrid develops a dangerous sleep walking habit while Freya has visions of Killian in danger."

In an interview with Zap2it, Jenna Dewan Tatum, who plays Freya Beauchamp, assured that the sophomore season of the supernatural series is full of suspense.

"I think this season in particular is much more complicated. There's a lot of challenges that all of us as characters are going to encounter and go through. And we're going a bit darker, a bit scarier and a little deeper with everything," she said.

"I've got more than one -- lots of challenges coming up -- most of them involving that I came to the realization of who my true love is. Finding him and locating him and all of that times ten happens this season. Amongst other things, there's also supernatural challenges and evil spirits we get to encounter and lots of really fun things to do," Tatum added.

In another interview with TV Guide, the show's executive producer, Maggie Friedman, talked about Freya's romantic challenges.

"That love triangle is going to get spun in a completely new direction. We saw what happened to Dash, and Killian has gone off, so Freya will find herself in a completely different romantic circumstance," she said.

Producer Richard Hatem added: "This is going to be a love pentagram. It gets a lot more complicated."
