A new trailer has been released for Wrath of the Titans, starring Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson, has been released online.

A follow-up to 2010's financially successful but critically derided Clash of the Titans, the film sees Worthington's Perseus travel into the underworld to rescue Neeson's Zeus.

Showcasing spectacular effects, the film looks set to travel along the well worn "bigger is better" sequel route.

Worthington will be hoping that the film is more popular than Clash, for which he has apologised to fans, admitting it "kind of let down some people". He also told Moviefone he "can act f*****g better, to be honest".

The film is set for release at the end of March.
