WWE has officially confirmed three matches for Extreme Rules, which will air live from the Prudential Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey on 22 May. AJ Styles will fight against Roman Reigns for the heavyweight title in a no-holds-barred match. Reigns defended his title for the first time at Payback against AJ Styles after winning it from Triple H at WrestleMania 32.

The other two matches that have been confirmed are between New Day and The Vaudevillains for the Tag Team title, while Charlotte will square off against Natalya in a submission match for the Women's championship title.

There are rumours about some fights that could take place at Extreme Rules. Check out the fight that could be added to the match card:

Kalisto vs Rusev for the United States Title

The United States title holder Kalisto could square off with Rusev, who has won the right to challenge the champion. As of now WWE has not confirmed when this match would take place but it could happen in Extreme Rules.

The Miz vs Cesaro vs Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Title

This four-way match if it happens would be an exciting one for the fans to witness.

Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho in Last Man Standing Match

Dean Ambrose's confidence was crushed after he failed to win against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32. Ambrose regained some confidence with the victory over Chris Jericho on 1 May. However, the feud between the veteran wrestler and Ambrose may continue for a little further into Extreme Rules.

The Usos vs Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows

The Usos vs the Bullet Club could make it to the match card but WWE might just have them get involved in the main event.

Becky Lynch vs Emma

Becky Lynch and Emma may finally get their match at Extreme Rules. The two were supposed to fight at Payback but their match was postponed to Monday Night RAW, which was again pulled out.

Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler won against Baron Corbin at Payback but their feud is still not dead. The Showoff and Corbin could get another match as both hate each each other to the core.
