WWE Raw results: Did Dean Ambrose and the Hardy Boyz beat Cesaro, Sheamus and the Miz?

The latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was aired live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, on 29 May. The big fight advertised for tonight was between Dean Ambrose and the Hardy Boyz against Cesaro, Sheamus and the Miz.

The show kicked off with the Miz, who said he was happy to get another chance to fight Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship at Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) event as The Lunatic Fringe had robbed him of his glory when they squared off in their previous fight, in which Dean had intentionally disqualified himself and retained the title.

For their fight at the upcoming PPV event, a stipulation has been put in place that will see Ambrose lose the title if he gets disqualified. And if that happens then the Miz will become Intercontinental champion for the seventh time.

The Miz then introduced Cesaro and Sheamus as his guest on his segment. He praised the two and said they were robbed of becoming the Raw tag team champions at WrestleMaina 33 as the Hardy Boyz showed up at the last minute and stole their spotlight. Since then Matt and Jeff Hardy have been ruling the Raw tag team division. Sheamus and Cesaro are scheduled to fight the Hardys for Raw Tag Team Championship in a Steel Cage match at the PPV event.

Ambrose entered and said he has come out to shut them up. The Miz pointed out to Ambrose that it was three against one, but the latter had help as the Hardys entered and then a brawl broke out. The Miz and Maryse bailed as Ambrose and the Hardys chased away Cesaro and Sheamus.
