The X Factor 2016
Honey G strutted out looking like a champion ITV/The X Factor

Expect judges Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne to raise the glamour stakes on tonight's (26 November) live show of The X Factor, because it's already the quarter-finals. That came quick!

Last week viewers witnessed one of the most controversial sing-offs in the dramatic series as Honey G and Ryan Lawrie sang for their places in the contest. Three of the judges voted to keep on the rapper, which caused a storm on social media.

Now the pressure is set to intensify for the remaining five acts, as Emily Middlemas, 5 After Midnight, Matt Terry, Honey G and Saara Aalto battle it out for next week's place in the semi-final.

Adding to the anxiety, the Jukebox chose the highly-anticipated Louis Loves as this week's theme – which are songs chosen by the veteran judge. Uh-oh.

As always, the show's judges Simon Cowell, Scherzinger, Osbourne and Louis Walsh will return to the panel as the nation comes closer to finding their next X Factor winner in the Wembley Arena final. Dermot O'Leary will also keep things ticking over as host.

As it's the quarter-finals, the acts will sing two songs each, one picked by Walsh and the other a track of their choice. They will sing both live before the public, and the singers with the fewest votes will face elimination in Sunday's results show.

If you don't want to see what songs each act are singing, then look away now!
