The Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack has expressed her relief following the arrest of a man accused of stalking her.
The 39-year-old man, who has not been named, was taken into custody after allegedly stalking the presenter for three months.
After initially sending a series of letters, the man is said to have repeatedly visited Flack's workplace to shower her with gifts, and had tried to touch her, she said.
After a number of warnings, 32-year-old Flack's management team called the police and the man was arrested.
He has been bailed until August for further questioning.
A source close to Flack told the Daily Mirror: "It's been a pretty stressful past few weeks for Caroline. But now the police are involved, she hopes the matter will soon be resolved and she can move on with her life."
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "A 39-year-old man was arrested and questioned and has been bailed pending further investigation."
