Hollywood star Zac Efron seems to have had a total image makeover... and is now sporting one that is very different from his "teenage idol" image.
A brief glimpse of a sexy, romantic scene between Efron and the co-star of his new film "The Lucky One", Taylor Schilling, seems to suggest the former teenager has grown up.
The film itself is about a US marine, who finds a photograph of a smiling young woman half-buried in the dirt during his third tour of duty in Iraq. The photo later turns out to be a lucky charm of sorts.
The script has been written by Nicholas Sparks and the film has been produced by Warner Bros.
Incidentally, Efron underwent special training from the US marines themselves.
"I tried to use these guys as much as I could, and just be aware of what they were doing, and how they were doing it, and how they spoke to each other," Zac was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
The film will hit theatres on 20 April.
