Zahra Schreiber
Snaps of Zahra Schreiber, a model and wrestler for WWE's developmental branch NXT, were uploaded to Rollins' Facebook, Seth Rollins/Twitter

The nude leaks of WWE rising star Zahra Schreiber posted on Seth Rollins' social media accounts were allegedly orchestrated by his scorned fiancée.

Wrestling fans were left stunned when images of Schreiber in various states of undress surfaced on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook earlier this week.

The explicit images also appeared on the official WWE website as a result of its automatic stream of Rollins' social media post, Deadspin reported.

The explicit leaks continued when Rollins' fiancée, Leighla Schultz, uploaded naked pictures of his naked body on her own Twitter account, and wrote "Zahara?", misspelling the model's name.

In the wake of the fiasco, various media outlets suggested that Schultz posted the photos online in an apparent revenge ploy after allegedly uncovering an affair between Rollins and Schreiber. It is thought that she was able to access his accounts after figuring out his passwords.

Replying to one user who claimed she "definitely didn't tweet" the pictures, Schultz bragged: "I definitely did Hahaha."

She also took to Facebook to further mock the exposed duo by posting mock messages she joked could have been exchanged between Rollins and Schreiber.

"i hate my life and my fiancée i just wanted to run away with you[sic]," she wrote.

All the nude images, as well as Schultz's tweet and Facebook posts, have since been deleted.

Revenge porn - whereby a jilted ex decides to humiliate you by publically sharing an inmate video, sex tape or nude picture - is a widely condemned form of non-consensual pornography.

Posting nude pictures of former lovers without their permission has been made illegal in California. Penalties can either be a $1,000 fine (£590) or a six-month prison sentence. Revenge porn legislation has also been introduced in Texas and Utah.

As public nudity is a breach of WWE's morality code, it wouldn't be surprising if the WWE Diva, who is contracted by the WWE as part of the NXT brand, is given her marching orders.

Although she has yet to comment, Rollins jumped on Twitter to apologise to fans as well as his family and friends. He did not confirm how the incident occurred.
