Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid dating? Singer and model 'seeing each other'

Victoria's Secret model Gigi Hadid and former One Direction star Zayn Malik are rumoured to be romantically involved with each other. The two are apparently in the initial stages of dating.

"It's a very new thing. They're just seeing where it goes," a source told Us Weekly. "I wouldn't call them boyfriend and girlfriend," another insider said. "But seeing each other? Definitely. He's chuffed."

According to images obtained by the publication, the 22-year-old singer and the 20-year-old model were spotted in the same car following American Music Awards after party at Los Angeles' The Nice Guy club.

"Gigi was leaving The Nice Guy. Gigi went out the front, though. She walked down the street and jumped into the car where Zayn was waiting to pick her up," a witness said.

Malik was previously in a high-profile relationship with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. The two started dating in December 2011 after meeting on the sets of The X Factor.

They got engaged in August 2013 and were reportedly planning to get married at Disneyland Paris in June. However, Malik called off the engagement in August.

Meanwhile, Hadid was in a relationship with American singer/actor Joe Jonas. She and the former Jonas Brothers singer broke up early November.
